Estimator posted 5-28-2013

As an Estimator, you will use drawings, specifications and other available information to develop pricing for materials and labor for assigned projects, ensuring appropriate profit levels.  You will use past history from our database as one basis for estimation of labor costs, and research current economic conditions to identify trends impacting material costs.  Further, you will connect with qualified subcontractors and material suppliers to ensure the best pricing estimates are being obtained.

 

To be considered for this position, you should have a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management or a related field, although significant experience may be considered in lieu of education.  You should also have a minimum of five years experience in construction, estimating or a closely related activity.  Previous experience with conceptual, design development and GMP estimates is desirable.
