This was
Sano-Rubin's second year
participating in the GHI Workforce Team Challenge.
This 3.5 mile road race is open to teams of employees from
corporations, businesses, government agencies, educational institutions,
non-for-profit corporations and financial institutions.
The event provides
a platform to promote health and fitness opportunities in the workplace as
well as goodwill and camaraderie among employees. The
race took place May 21, 2009 at the Empire State Plaza. Congratulations
runners and walkers!

Certificate of
Appreciation
Sano-Rubin received recognition for donations made to St. Catherine's Center
for Children, a Catholic charity providing services to improve the lives of
children and families. During the 2008 holiday season, Sano-Rubin
employees and their families purchased toys and clothes the children
requested on the Giving Tree. With the gifts and monetary donations
collected, we were able to brighten Christmas Day for several
children.
Thank you to everyone who
participated and a special thanks to Stacie Paplow for coordinating the
effort.

Another Successful Daffodil Days! Sano-Rubin
proudly participated in the 2009 American Cancer Society Daffodil Days
campaign. This year, our donations were made in memory of Patrick
J. Hart, Sr., Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer, who
lost his courageous battle with cancer in December 2008.
Our staff,
with the help of a few friends, raised over $1,400!
This far
exceeded our original goal of $800.
Thank you to
everyone for their generosity and support of this important cause.

Both office and
field staffs teamed up to helped build a new playground for Mercy Cares for
Kids, the day care center for St. Peter's Hospital.
The 16,000-square foot playscape, sporting
numerous hills, trees, bushes and a hand-crafted "one of a kind" mosaic
water feature. A monetary donation
was also provided by Sano-Rubin to help fund the project which was dedicated
in late July 2003.
