This single-story, 15,000 sf office building is located in the newly developing Malta Farms Business Park.  The structure was enhanced to accommodate a future 2nd floor addition.  The ultra energy efficient building uses ultra-high performance glass, high performance /efficient lighting, Isonyne wall insulation, added roof insulation and high performance HVAC equipment with environmentally friendly refrigerants.  The project is slated to receive NYSERDA incentives. 

 

The building houses a backup data center and disaster recovery facility for the tenant which includes a 1,540 sf computer room and the remaining area is office space.  Redundant building systems were installed.  Additional features include raised access flooring, clean agent extinguishing system, and CRAC, UPS, ATS units as well as a 600kw diesel generator.  The building management system installed allows remote monitoring and control of HVAC, entry access, security, fire alarm, and computer room systems.

  • Over half the construction waste was diverted from landfills
