The
new $14 million, 46,000 square foot Massry
Center for the Arts is located on the College of Saint Rose adjacent to
the Administration Center. It
houses
a recital hall, a two-story art gallery, rehearsal rooms,
teaching studios, piano labs and classrooms
and gives
the musical and visual art students a
place to showcase their work.
The recital hall is the primary venue for
concerts at the College while the
gallery, with its open design and vaulted ceiling,
enables the College
to host additional exhibitions and lectures by renowned artists.
A new pedestrian plaza and sculpture garden
was built at the entrance to the Center.
