Sano-Rubin
completed the
Empire State College's
new $10.8 million Center for Distance Learning in August 2009.
The 46,000
square foot, 3-story, steel framed
building is located at
113 West Avenue, adjacent to the existing facility. The facility
contains administrative offices, conference rooms,
meeting rooms,
and instructional spaces as well as a multipurpose
room and kitchen on the third floor. Geothermal wells
were a main component of
the work
and provide reduced energy
consumption.
