College of Saint Rose Events & Activities
Center
Albany, NY
After successfully
completing the new School of Education that opened in December 2002,
Sano-Rubin began the reconstruction of the Campus Activities Center. The
Center was completed in August 2004.
The north side of the
building was removed to make room for a new 11,300 square-foot gymnasium,
a fitness center, six team rooms, training room and an equipment room.
Renovation of the basketball court allowed approximately 500 additional
seats, doubling the current capacity. The gymnasium features improved
lighting and the new Golden Knights logo on the new floor. A two-story
lobby houses the ticket booth and concession area.
Additional work
included new elevators, locker rooms and public restrooms. The mezzanine
level over the lobby features a larger fitness center.
