The Hubbard Center Adolescent Home Albany, NY

The Hubbard Center is a new 14,268 sf, 20-bed rehabilitation residence for Hope House, Inc. that houses twenty youngsters as they go through a contained recovery process. The project is funded through the NYS Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS).  The first floor includes a kitchen, dining area, recreation room, classroom, staff offices and a medical office.  The second floor includes 10 double occupancy bedrooms, consultation areas, counselor offices, laundry, and bathroom facilities.  At the time bids were received, the project was nearly a half a million dollars over budget.  Although Sano-Rubin was the lump-sum low bidder, we worked with the Owner and Architect to bring the project inline with their budget.

St. Anthony On Hudson Senior Housing Rensselaer, NY

This project consisted of a new 53-unit, two story apartment building which houses 1 and 2 bedroom affordable senior apartments.  Sixteen 2-unit, single story cottages were also constructed on the St. Anthony-on-Hudson campus located at 517 Washington Avenue in Rensselaer, NY.  Both phases, apartments and cottages,  were built concurrently.  Major site work consisted of new utilities, reconfiguration of roadways, new parking lots, and landscaping.  The project was funded in part by the NYS Division of Housing & Community Renewal.

Daughters of Sarah Memory Enhancement Residence Albany, NY

One of three projects on the Daughters of Sarah Nursing Home Campus.  It consisted of a 25,000 square foot addition to the current facility located on Washington Avenue Extension in Albany.   At a cost of $3.7 million, this new residence encompasses a 3-wing, 36 bed addition with large lounges and parlors, a kosher pantry and “wander garden”.   The Memory Enhancement Residence will most certainly compliment the Daughters of Sarah Nursing Home, which is currently being renovated, and the newly-completed independent living facility The Massry Residence.
