Mohawk Golf Club
Schenectady, NY
The
$2 million project consisted of renovations to the existing golf club including a small
dining room addition and comprehensive upgrade of all systems. Expansion and improvements were also made to the
kitchen, dining room, lounge and support facilities. Construction began January 6, 2003, and facilities were back in operation
on June 6, 2003. The
project was designed by
Mesick Cohen Wilson Baker,
LLP.

Renovation and additions to the exiting country
club. Locker space was expanded as well as the addition of a new
dining room, two new bars, and lounge area. New lobby, elevator,
outdoor patio, and entry way were also part of the project.

Construction Manager for approximately 10,000 square feet of additions, with gut
renovations of about 20,000 square feet and exterior sitework upgrades. January 1st
fast track start for three separate additions with critical April completion of new Grille
Room successfully achieved.

Approximately 4,000 s.f. of additions
with 20,000 s.f. of complete renovation. Construction was phased to enable
continued use of the building. A compressed schedule for an early
spring completion to accommodate golfing activities and events which had
been reserved the previous year.

20,000 square foot renovation of main front entry, lobby, Fitzgerald’s
dining and Kelsey’s bar. Phased alteration areas to maintain reception,
elevator lobby, and visitor comfort.
